Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery Location: Cambridge, Massachusetts Shift: Rotating (Days, Evenings, Nights) Employment Type: Full-Time   Overview: A highly respected hospital in Cambridge, MA is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join its Labor and Delivery team. This rotating shift position offers the opportunity to provide exceptional care to mothers and newborns in a dynamic, patient-centered environment. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients throughout labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery
• Monitor maternal and fetal well-being, including vital signs, contractions, and fetal heart tones
• Assist with vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, and emergency interventions
• Administer medications and manage IVs, epidurals, and pain control measures
• Educate patients and families on childbirth, postpartum care, and newborn health
• Collaborate with obstetricians, midwives, anesthesiologists, and pediatric teams to ensure safe and effective care
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to hospital protocols and safety standards

Qualifications:

• Active RN license in the state of Massachusetts
• BLS and NRP certifications required; ACLS preferred
• Minimum of 2 year of Labor & Delivery experience strongly preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, emotionally sensitive environment
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
