Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery
Location: Beverly, Massachusetts
Shift: Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Employment Type: Full-Time / Part-Time
Overview: A well-regarded hospital in Beverly, MA is seeking a compassionate and experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse to join its maternity care team. This night shift role offers the opportunity to support mothers and newborns through one of life’s most meaningful experiences in a collaborative and patient-centered environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care during labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery
- Monitor maternal and fetal health, including vital signs and fetal heart tones
- Assist with vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, and emergency interventions
- Administer medications, IVs, and epidurals as prescribed
- Educate patients and families on childbirth, postpartum care, and newborn health
- Collaborate with obstetricians, midwives, anesthesiologists, and pediatric teams
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to hospital safety protocols
Qualifications:
- Active RN license in the state of Massachusetts
- BLS and NRP certifications required; ACLS preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience required
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work effectively during overnight hours in a fast-paced, emotionally sensitive environment
