Job Title: Travel Registered Nurse – First Surgical Assistant
Location: Beverly, MA
Shift: Variable (Typically 8–12 Hour Shifts)

Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse – First Surgical Assistant (RNFA) for travel assignments across top hospitals and surgical centers nationwide. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist surgeons during operative procedures, including tissue handling, suturing, and wound closure
- Prepare and position patients for surgery, ensuring safety and comfort
- Maintain sterile fields and ensure proper instrumentation and equipment setup
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure efficient and safe procedural flow
- Monitor patient status intraoperatively and assist with post-operative care as needed
- Document surgical activities and maintain compliance with facility protocols and regulatory standards
Qualifications:
- Active RN license in the state of assignment (multi-state or compact license preferred)
- Certification as a Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA) required
- Minimum of 2 years of perioperative nursing experience, including first assist duties
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong knowledge of surgical anatomy, procedures, and instrumentation
- Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and work collaboratively in high-pressure settings
