Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical-Surgical Unit Location: Utica, New York Shift: Night Shift (Full-Time) Overview: We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Medical-Surgical team at a wonderful hospital in Utica, NY. This night shift position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative, patient-focused environment where your expertise and dedication will make a meaningful impact. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to adult patients with a wide range of medical and surgical conditions
• Monitor patient status, administer medications, and perform treatments as prescribed
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Document patient care accurately and timely in the electronic health record (EHR)
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, discharge instructions, and health maintenance
• Maintain a safe and clean environment in accordance with hospital policies and procedures

Qualifications:

• Active RN license in the state of New York
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
• Previous experience in med-surg or acute care settings preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
